Mackin’s Storyteller Spotlight

On September 17th, Ballard East 4th grade students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a Mackin’s Storyteller Spotlight webinar featuring renowned author Alan Gratz. The event took place in the school library, where students were captivated as Gratz shared insights about his writing process, discussed his popular books, and recounted his journey to becoming an author.

The engagement didn’t stop there—just days after the webinar, every single Alan Gratz book in the library was checked out, demonstrating the enthusiasm and inspiration sparked by the event.
